Learning More About Coquitlams Watershed Defenders

The CodeBlue BC team is organizing the second community meeting for interested volunteers in the Coquitlam area on August 24th at 6:00pm and we would love to see you there!

This meeting will focus on educating everyone about the work currently being done to defend the Coquitlam watershed and help prepare all of us, regardless of background, on the best ways to tackle the watershed based issues in the community. We will be hearing presentations from Lina Azeez of Watershed Watch about their Connected Waters Campaign, from Craig Orr about how our new team can ally with others and the importance of reconciliation in our work and from a representative of the Kwikwetlem First Nation about their key activities/goals and ways of working with regard to water/watersheds.

I hope to see you all there for an evening of water based action, inspiration and knowledge!
